New flights to Mexico at Mineta
New Airline for Mineta
Finally some good news for Mineta International Airport. Mexico's Volaris airlines announced that it will be launching daily flights from San Jose to Guadalajara, Mexico, starting this April. It is the first airline to start flying from Mineta in the past five years. The announcement came as welcome news to the newly renovated airport, which has seen a steep decline over the past few years. In February, SanJose.com reported that Frontier Airlines would be pulling its flights from Mineta as of March 14.
